Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization with 276 chapters spread across North America. In this year alone, the organization has delivered over 29,000 beds to children that would not otherwise have a bed of their own. The local Brazos county chapter was formed in March of 2021 and began building beds in June. Since that time, we have helped 1,979 children in Bryan/College Station by providing them with a bed, complete with a good mattress, sheets, a blanket, and pillow. Volunteers meet once a month to build beds, then meet in the following weeks to deliver and set up the beds. Children ages 3-17 are eligible and parents can apply at shpbeds.org.
