The Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley and the George & Barbara Bush Foundation co-sponsored a local celebration as more than 300 nonprofit representatives gathered to celebrate our local Day of Giving—Brazos Valley Gives Day. The Annual Brazos Valley Gives Celebration was held Wednesday afternoon, November 20 at the Marine One/4141 Locomotive Pavilion located at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Center on Texas A&M University campus. An extraordinary number of donors gave on the Brazos Valley’s 6th Annual Brazos Valley Gives Day—held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024—benefiting 198 nonprofits who took part in the annual community-wide giving day. Final numbers came in at $1,285,814. Incentive prizes totaling $46,500 were awarded as well as additional prizes and community grants totaling $8,600.
