This page provides essential information nonprofits will need to make Brazos Valley Gives successful for your organization. Here you will find event logos and other resources to help spread the word and raise more money on Brazos Valley Gives day. To help you get ready, we've provided some helpful resources and tools for your use. We will continue to populate this page with additional resources, so check back often!

Registration Information

Nonprofit registration opens in July 2025.

To participate, a nonprofit must 

  • be in good standing with the IRS as a 501c3 organization
  •  be located in or primarily serve one of the 7 counties in the Brazos Valley: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington
  • Acknowledge that 100% of proceeds raised through Brazos Valley Gives will go directly toward the organization's programs and services in the counties listed above
  • Register and pay the registration fee by midnight on September 6. Profile edits close September 13.
  • Registration is $150. Nonprofits that have a charitable endowment fund at the Community Foundation have a discounted fee of $50

What is a 501(c)(3) Determination Letter?

The IRS Determination Letter notifies a nonprofits that its application for federal tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) has been approved. In summary, it confirms that your organization is exempt from federal income tax. Also, it confirms that your donors can claim their contributions to your organization on their annual tax returns.


Organizations seeking to participate in Brazos Valley Gives must be able to locate this document or will need to obtain a copy from the IRS if further documentation is requested.
