BREAST CANCER PATIENT SERVICES During 2023, Pink Alliance provided 63 individuals with over $97,000 in direct financial support for patient services [e.g., high insurance deductibles, co-payments, mammograms, biopsies, chemotherapy treatments, lymphedema supplies, etc.]. During the first 7 months of 2024, Pink Alliance has expended over $83,000 in direct financial support for patient services. Over the past 8 years, Pink Alliance has provided over $683,000 in financial support for low-income breast cancer patients. BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP Pink Alliance hosts the only local community support group for breast cancer patients and survivors. The Support Group provides a safe, inviting environment that allows breast cancer patients and survivors to share feelings and concerns, and receive emotional support through small group discussion. During 2023, Pink Alliance board members provided 505+ hours of group support and outreach to patients and survivors. Currently, 8 board members, representing over 100 years of breast cancer survivorship, share their time and talents as they volunteer their services to the community.
