Elevate Ukraine's Impact: -Recently we supported Jakob Kepa's HopeRaising Expedition, which has now been successfully completed. Jakob is a 67-year-old Canadian military veteran and leg amputee. He successfully rode his bike from Krakow to Kyiv to raise awareness and funds for amputees. The ride was primarily organized by Freedom Space, an NGO in Krakow with Elevate Ukraine providing a support van, meals and housing on the Ukrainian side of the trip. - In May 2024, elevate Ukraine teamed up with the Tullman Family, Vienna Mission for Ukraine, and UAid-Direct on a Diabetic Supply Project. Thanks to donations from Dexcom Austria and Insulin for Life USA, our partners were finally able to deliver crucial CGM sensor kits to 28 at risk type 1 diabetics in Ukraine in August, 2024. - Tourniquets for Safety: Supplied 500 tourniquets to civilians and first responders, enhancing emergency medical capabilities. - Comfort in Cold: Provided 250 hand warmers, offering warmth and comfort during challenging winter months. - Provided Housing: Offered refuge and housing for displaced individuals in Suceava, Romania, providing a safe haven for Ukrainian refugees. - Enhancing Logistics: Acquired a van to streamline the transportation of essential supplies to refugees in Ivano-Frankivsk, optimizing relief efforts. - Trauma Kits: Distributed approximately 1,500 trauma kits to civilians and first responders. - Support for Orphans: Extended financial assistance to Camp Christa, benefiting 110 Ukrainian orphans uprooted by conflict. Organized a dedicated team of Americans who conducted a weeklong camp for these children. - Medical Aid Shipments: Sent a forty-foot shipping container loaded with medical supplies to critical locations, including Mykolaiv, Poltava, and Kharkiv, bolstering healthcare resources. - Power and Warmth: Procured generators and heaters, essential for survival in harsh winter conditions. - Connectivity through Starlink: Acquired and distributed 21 Starlink antennas, fostering connectivity and communication, allowing communities to access the Internet. Elevate Ukraine's efforts encompass housing, medical supplies, warmth, education, and technology, collectively making a substantial impact on the lives of those affected by conflict in Ukraine!
