The Community Foundation serves the 7-county region of the Brazos Valley and partners with charitably-minded individuals, families and businesses to establish donor-advised funds and other endowments to fulfill unique and personal giving goals. The Foundation also strengthens nonprofits through grants and sustaining endowment initiatives, serving as a funding source that is responsible for our community's needs now -- and into the future.

As the Brazos Valley's trusted partner for charitable giving within the seven-county area, the Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that belongs to the community. The Foundation is governed by a diverse board of local community and business leaders for the sole reason of providing donors and nonprofits with professional stewardship of their endowed charitable funds, ensuring that their funds will continue to grow and enhance the quality of life in their community for generations to come. In consideration of its mission and experience, donors and nonprofits look to the Foundation for experience in managing charitable endowments and oversight in the annual distribution of grants.

The Foundation stewards 120+ CHARITABLE FUNDS totaling over $12.8M IN ASSETS. Over the last 20 years, the Foundation has distributed more than $6.2M+ IN GRANTS TO LOCAL CAUSES THAT CHANGE THE LIVES OF CITIZENS AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITIES. During 2023, the Foundation distributed over $1.2M to nonprofit charities and higher education institutions.
