Chosen got its beginnings when founder, Richard Love, sought the donation of a sterilizer for a mission hospital in South Korea in 1969. The Christian, community-oriented NPO, with international reach and domestic roots, serves as a distribution center for home healthcare items in three locations: Bryan, Texas; Erie, Pennsylvania; and, Yucatan, Mexico, while having distributed hospital-grade equipment to Christian hospitals and missionaries in 112 countries. We collect new and gently used durable medical equipment and redistribute them into the hands of those in need within the stated communities at no cost to the individuals or families. At Chosen, there are no boxes to check, no income, residency, or insurance requirements to fulfill except a need. We are committed to acts of service that inspire every individual to see themselves as God's handiwork and part of a greater whole. Through your donations of equipment and funds, we are able, through a network of volunteers, Christian leaders, and community members, to offer a beacon of HOPE, spiritual and material, that stretches beyond borders and brackets.
Who is Chosen? We might advocate a Chosen One in Christ, but those who participate are the Chosen To's: Chosen to LOVE. Chosen to offer HOPE. Chosen to DO GOOD WORKS.
