Young Life Brazos Valley reaches out to middle school, high school, special needs and teen moms across the community. We host clubs, events, campaigners (small groups) and attend kids school events to build relationships. We work to help students succeed in all areas of life; school, home, work and social. We will tutor, be a friend, encourage them with their relationship with their parents and siblings. We work to be in contact with parents to help them know what we are doing and be a support to families. We believe every student matters and work to make them each feel accepted and heard. We have seen student's attendance and grades improve when involved in Young Life. We help them to see their value and how they can give back to family and our community. Besides working with teenagers, we work with college students who learn the value of volunteering and giving their life away to help others. They have a sense of community while in college and learn time management. The our volunteer college students learn time management and enjoy the fun of other students and kids. The creative and excitement they bring to kids and the community encourages us all to strive for more in life. Young Life gives everyone a sense of belonging and worth as we connect with each other.
