Mobility Brazos Valley Has been located in Bryan for over 13 years and has shipped over 3,800 Mobility carts to over twenty countries. The carts are donated free of charge and distributed by numerous religious and service groups such as Lions Club International, Methodist Churches, Children's Food Train and Doctors Without Borders. Volunteers at the shop include retired, many veterans, student groups and people with welding, wood-working or other skills that are needed to accomplish our mission. With no paid staff and very low overhead (rent and utilities) we are able to dedicate over 95% of our funds toward producing and shipping these units around the world. The event goal will provide shipping of 200 carts to Liberia and 200 carts to Mexico. We will also purchase tires and spare parts for those carts. Over 70 million people worldwide are disabled, and our mobility carts help give these people the opportunity to live fuller lives!
