About this Organization

The FUN FOR ALL PLAYGROUND is designed to integrate activities and facilities that include both active and free/inventive play areas. This facility has areas designed for 2-5 years, 5-12 years, as well as teen and adult areas. Using nature-based themes, the playground encourages exploration and learning of the natural world with age-appropriate challenges of all physical and cognitive abilities within this safe and family-friendly place.

The all-volunteer steering committee is comprised of a collective group of civic-minded individuals coming from local Rotary, Lions, and Kiwanis clubs, as well as parents and citizens with a passion for this project. To date, this group has raised over $3 Million to build this playground.

PHASE I ($1.0M) -- COMPLETED -- includes a splash pad, 2 climbing areas, and 2 swing areas. A ribbon cutting and grand opening of Phase I was held on August 2, 2019.

PHASE II ($1.8M) -- COMPLETED -- includes a 33-yard athletic field with stadium seating and restrooms that can be used for Special Olympic events such as soccer, beep ball, boccie ball, and special events, etc. Phase II also includes three sensory areas (Sound, Motion, Sight) and a Welcome Plaza/Donor Wall area. The ribbon cutting for phase II happened on July 28, 2021. everyone in attendance enjoyed the playground and festivities.

PHASE III ($1.2M) -- Under construction/ installation -- This phase is currently under design and construction. New features will include a covered play area for ages 2-5, benches and picnic tables for additional seating, and two communications boards for citizens who live with verbal disability.
