In 1957, a group of local citizens established the Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center (BVRC) with the goal of providing high-quality rehabilitative care to children and adults with disabilities in the area. Today, we remain the only independent, community-owned nonprofit clinic in the Brazos Valley. BVRC offers both traditional and advanced therapies, including physical, occupational, speech, feeding, and sensory integration therapy. Our expert staff treats a wide range of disabilities across all ages, from infants with congenital birth defects and young children with autism to teens with sports injuries, adults with back injuries, and seniors recovering from strokes.
Our transformative medical therapies are further supported by social services, case management, and medical director services. For nearly seven decades, we've delivered personalized, one-on-one therapy sessions with licensed professionals, regardless of payor source. Whether you're covered by an employer-sponsored commercial plan, a government program like Medicare or Medicaid, or are uninsured, BVRC's therapists are committed to your rehabilitation and wellbeing in a patient-centered, supportive environment. We are able to sustain this unique model of care thanks to the generosity of our donors, ensuring that everyone in Aggieland has access to top-tier care, regardless of financial circumstances.
When you support BVRC, you help a child take her first steps, empower a young stroke survivor to regain independence and return to work, and enable the family of a newly diagnosed child to celebrate each milestone and overcome every challenge.
The Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center truly belongs to the people of the Brazos Valley. Every dollar you contribute stays right here in our community, supporting children and adults with disabilities.
On behalf of BVRC and the patients we serve, THANK YOU for your generosity during Brazos Valley Gives. You are making a real difference in the lives of so many in our community.
