Brenham Pregnancy Center was first established in 2002. Our mission as a Christ-centered organization has always been to serve individuals and families experiencing pregnancy-related issues, from unplanned pregnancy to pregnancy loss. Brenham Pregnancy Center provides free holistic care to women by providing pregnancy tests, early ultrasounds, life-affirming consultation, education, and spiritual support, all while honoring the rights of the pre-born and the dignity of those we serve. Brenham Pregnancy Center's services support parents who are expecting up to the child 's 3rd birthday. Our prayer is to see lives saved both physically and spiritually. From Jan 1 to Sept 1 of 2024, we saw 146 salvations. When a woman or man makes a commitment to Christ, we want to plug them into a Bible-believing church in their local area, so their faith foundation can continue to grow. We partner with churches that will welcome these men and women with open arms! Over 18 months ago, Brenham Pregnancy Center (BPC) began noticing an increase in the number of college women from Brazos County seeking our services. This unexpected trend prompted us to connect with other local organizations to better understand the growing needs of these students. What we discovered was a significant gap in services specifically designed for college-aged women facing unplanned pregnancies. Recognizing this opportunity, we began marketing directly to the college campuses in Brazos County in early 2024. Through this focused outreach, we collected valuable data that confirmed a clear need for the free services BPC offers. In response, we've provided transportation assistance, including Ubers and gas cards, for women from Brazos County who are desperately seeking our support. Our organization has prayerfully considered how BPC can further serve these women, many of whom travel over 45 minutes to reach us. After months of thoughtful deliberation, we have determined that opening a second clinic location is absolutely essential. This new clinic would allow us to better support the women attending one of the largest universities in the country, ensuring that they have access to the compassionate care and resources they need during such a critical time in their lives. Our Bryan location will open by the end of 2024.
