Cat and dog overpopulation is at an all-time high in Burleson County as well as all over Texas. Puppies are being dumped in our county at an alarming rate. Haven Animal Rescue in Caldwell Texas has taken in many of the puppies but the underlying problem is still ongoing. Preventing unwanted litters of kittens and puppies is the key in successfully deterring the problem. Project SNIP of Burleson County provides monthly low cost spay/neuter services. Financial support is available for those who want to have their pets altered but need assistance to do so. 100% of the funds Project SNIP receives goes toward their mission of providing a low cost option for spay/neuter services.
