The BEE Community exists to provide meaningful work and a place of belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. BEE artisans craft high quality products like soaps, candles, dog treats, stationery, and jewelry as well as offer the community a shredding service. BEE desires everyone- regardless of ability and capacity- to experience the dignity and purpose that comes from employment and allow all to contribute their gifts! A core value of BEE is creating space for people with and without disabilities to build mutually benefitting relationships which is how I got involved with BEE.
