The BEE Community is a place of belonging and meaningful work for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have been around The BEE Community since the day it opened as a caregiver, volunteer and now as a staff member. Not only has it been incredible to watch the lives of the artisans be touched, my life has changed in such a beautiful way. The BEE Community is the most wonderful place where people with any abilities can belong and use their beautiful, unique talents to make quality products, make friends and grow as a community. The BEE Community exists to provide meaningful work and a place of belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Brazos Valley through the handcrafting of high quality products like soaps, candles, dog treats, stationery, jewelry, and fudge.
