The BEE Community is a truly magical place that has changed me in so many ways! 

Before starting at BEE this summer, I was completely unaware of the challenges members of the disabled community face every day.  By providing meaningful work and a place of belonging, we are helping combat the employment crisis for adults with disabilities, in Texas up to 95% of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are unemployed. The Artisans at BEE handcraft high quality products like soaps, candles, dog treats, stationery and jewelry. 

All of us, regardless of abilities and independence, have a longing to feel connected and have a sense of purpose, and that is EXACTLY what The BEE Community offers to the Artisans AND staff that work here.
