In 2023, the Conservancy provided over 140 scheduled nature programs and served over 1,630 individuals with access to 30 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian activities. Our partners served an additional 1,550 individuals with activities ranging from fly fishing to weekly trail runs to outdoor classes for Texas A&M University students. Our oldest program, Camp Millican, a week-long summer day camp for kids ages 4 to 14 which promotes healthy discovery and outdoor adventures, expanded to serve 195 children during 8 weeks of camp in 2024. As an outdoor program, Camp Millican provides a fun, enriching experience aimed at strengthening a child's sense of well-being and cultivating a bond with nature. This year, funds raised will cover Camp Millican tuition for children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to be a part of this unique program.
